The Karnataka Forest Department Recruitment 125 Forest Officer

The Karnataka Forest Department has published a notification for recruitment of 125 Deputy Range Forest Officer,Forest Guard and Forest Watcher  vacancies . Eligible meritorious sports persons may apply for this position on or before 19th August 2015.All other recruitment details are given below.

  1. Deputy Range Forest Officer : 50 Posts
  2. Forest Guard : 50 Posts
  3. Forest Watcher : 25 Posts
Applicant's Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification :
Candidate should have a Bachelor Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology as one of subject or a Graduate’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognised university or equivalent for Posts no.1, For posts no.2,Candidate must have passed PUC or equivalent qualification and for posts no.3,Candidate must have passed SSLC or equivalent examination.
Pay Scale/Salary 
Selected candidates will get pay for posts of Deputy Range Forest Officer : Rs.12500 – 24000 for Forest Guard : Rs.11600-21000 and Forest Watcher : Rs.9600 - 14550
Mode of Selection
Selection process include Physical Endurance Test, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test,Sports Achievement/Performance List and Written Examination.Candidates will be tested at Bangalore.
Application Fee
Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs.100/- with Service Charge Rs.12/- for General Merit candidates and Rs.50/- with Service Charge Rs.12/- for the Candidates belonging to SC, ST.
